Washington [US], August 17 (ANI): Ariana Grande gave fans a special moment during her London concert as she was joined by her Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo on stage.

The two reunited to perform songs from the musical at Grande’s Eternal Sunshine Tour show at London’s O2 Arena on August 16, according to Variety.

Grande and Erivo performed “For Good”, followed by “Get Happy/Happy Days Are Here Again”. The two songs have become closely linked with their Wicked journey, where Grande plays Glinda and Erivo plays Elphaba.

According to the publication, the pair had previously performed the “Get Happy/Happy Days Are Here Again” medley during a Wicked television special in November last year. Their version pays tribute to the famous performance of the two songs by Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand on television in the 1960s.

Grande is currently travelling with her Eternal Sunshine Tour, which takes its name from her seventh studio album. The tour will conclude with a 10-show run at London’s O2 Arena, with the final concert scheduled for September 1, Variety said.

After the tour, Grande is expected to take a break from public appearances. Her representative told PEOPLE earlier in August that the singer wants to finish the tour and then take a break from public-facing work following a period of intense public attention.

Grande had also stepped away from the West End revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park With George, where she was set to appear alongside her Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey.

Grande and Erivo first appeared together as Glinda and Elphaba in Jon M. Chu’s Wicked. They also return for the sequel, Wicked: For Good. Both actors received Oscar nominations for their performances in the first film. (ANI)
